THE SUPERFRAME

Our super strong timber frame building is perfect for a home office or workshop with substantial light through the double doors and front windows giving a contemporary feel. The extra deep studwork can accommodate retro fitting of internal insulation, electrics or cladding to personalise the building to your own taste and style.

The internal  height is approx 86 inches/2.18 m across the all unit. The roof design has no slope internally – it creates a ‘flat ceiling’ effect. The external height is approx 97 inches/ 2.47 m at the front of the building sloping by about 2 inches /45 mm. The roof cover is EPDM rubber that comes with extended warranty.

To enhance the longevity for garden building, every Superframe is fitted with a damp-proof rubber membrane that sits between the 18 mm heavy duty plywood flooring and 3”x 2” tanalised floor runners.

Our 3m aluminium triple bi-fold doors are fitted with rubber seals to further enhance weather resistance.

Base Guidance

The building should be on a slightly elevated solid base and should never find itself "standing" in water which is why we recommend the size guidelines below.  

 

The unit should have a draught underneath facilitated by the tanalised bearers and water should be able to run away from the unit completely.  

 

The ideal base is concrete or concrete slab 100mm/ 150mm thick. We offer a complementary site survey to advise on the suitable base and access.
